Even if you don’t immediately have access to spells, you may find the Spellcasting Sheet useful once you start acquiring magic items with spell-like abilities. If at all possible, I recommend that you try to sell your players on all using the same iteration of the Character Sheet. I could go on about D&D Beyond because I think it’s a fantastic resource, but that’s not the purpose of this post, and therefore beyond the scope. It’s many benefits include having a place to store all of your character sheets in one location as well as having a fantastic character builder that saves you a lot of time by not having to peruse through multiple books while building a character. I can’t tell you how many times I ended up searching for “DND character sheet for 5E,” and then searched for are probably hours on end for one that spoke to me.
